Guitarist, composer and bandleader Duved Dunayevsky. Based in Paris, he is recognized by many as the leading exponent of Django Reinhardt’s 1930s guitar style. Currently at the head of the experimental style “Prebop Orchestra” and the “Hot-Club” ensemble “Duved et ses cinq transatlantiques”. Duved performs regularly at jazz festivals around the world, bringing traditional jazz to life not by preserving it but by continuing to develop its creative heritage… With his acolyte Daniel Garlitsky on violin, they form a duo that captures the very essence of the duo Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt.
